Today's post is short but nonetheless sweet; I want to focus on two brands that I have been made aware of this winter:
"Kiko Milano", mentioned in my two previous posts, is what I would like to call 'value for money'. Every product I have tried so far has been beyond what I ever expected; their prices meet that of the average high street brands, but the quality and pigmentation exceeds them all.
The first purchase I want to talk about today is my most recent; the Dazzling Highlighter
in the shade 'Bright Rose' glides effortlessly across the key areas of the face including the centre of the forehead, the bridge of the nose, the area just above the cheekbones, the chin and the cupid's bow. This highlighter gives a striking, noticeable, shimmery effect where applied and stands out as the light hits it. Christmas is definitely the season for glitz and glam; it is the time of year where I find myself reaching for highlighters the most.
Whilst revisiting the store, I also purchased the Moon Dust Face Powder
in the shade 'Mysterious Pink'. This silky, illuminating blush is perfect for warming up the face during these cold months. Leaving the skin looking refreshed and healthy, this product is highly pigmented and long lasting so little is needed at one time.
Liz Earle has been popping up all over youtube at the moment; whether its in the adverts or the youtube sensations themselves are raving about it, I can't seem to escape the name. So, in desperate need of a new skin scare routine I treated myself to the Liz Earle Daily Essentials Kit
(see attached the tester version sold online). The full sized kit was worth £45 in store; it includes 2 muslim cloths, the cleanse & polish 'hot cloth cleanser', the instant boost skin tonic (toner), a soothing eye lotion and the skin repair moisturiser.
To put into perspective what a good deal this box is, the cost of 2 of the products alone would be just under £30, so an extra £15 for 3 more products is pretty good going! The kit itself is just delightful; to be used morning and night, it leaves you feeling like you've just had a professional massage. With all natural ingredients, the scent has a refreshing, yet calm, effect. Each of the products complement each other beautifully to leave the skin feeling replenished and radiant.
Taking care of your skin is so important, it can be a pain but once you find the right products for your skin it becomes something to look forward to. There is nothing better than taking off your makeup and cleansing away all the dirt after a long day.
I highly recommend both the brands Kiko Milano and Liz Earle as so far, their products have made a huge impression on me.
Thank you for reading
Love Luisa xoxo
